A powerful abstract, illustrating the noise and destruction of roadworks outside of my home, in the Spring of 2021. The noise was unbearable, and the road was absolutely ripped apart, and not for the benefit of us. It was for the benefit of sewage works for a new housing complex that was to overlook us. While the painting was born out of rage and destruction, I have tried to incorporate the rebirth and new life that the destruction was the impetus for. We have now moved house, and are extremely happy to report not too many roadworks.
