Pimlico is the second painting in my 2023 Rossetti inspired series. Using colours and the dark yet seducing atmosphere of Dante Rossettis portraits I've designed a series of abstract paintings for modern spaces, picking up on metallic features and feature colour pops. Of note in this artwork is the blue shining through the brown background, the swirling pinks and warm pale green brushstrokes. The black highlights add texture and depth to the overall experience.
