A botanical in abstract, in the style of a favourite Australian artist of mine, Joan Blond. Botanical leaves and forms are placed on top of contrasting and complimentary colourblocks, with flowery doodles and patterns connecting the spaces.
Some silver-leaf added for texture and sparkle in areas.
With a 2.5 cm deep edge in white, this painting works well unframed but could bed into its surroundings with a tray frame. A tray frame for this sized artwork should cost you up to 90 euro in Ireland.
